Eric J. Trozzo is a missionary professor for ELCA Global Mission, serving on the faculty of Sabah Theological Seminary in Malaysia. He holds a Ph.D. in theology from Drew University and the S.T.M. from Trinity Lutheran Seminary in Columbus, Ohio. Rupturing Eschatology (Fortress Press, 2013) is a revision of his dissertation completed at Drew University under the direction of Catherine Keller. He is a contributing author to the volumes Divine Multiplicity: Trinities, Diversities, and the Nature of Relation (2013) and Abingdon Theological Companion to the Lectionary: Preaching Year A (2013).
Rupturing Eschatology is Eric Trozzo's constructive retrieval of Luther's theology of the cross for the purpose of establishing a contemporary Lutheran and "emerging" account of the cross, silence, and eschatology.
